ABOUT ME

Hello :) I am a 19 year old student studying law and Bengali! I am currently living in London with my lovely friends! I am between my first and second year in university and am planning on travelling and doing a Bulgarian work experience in a hippy hostel from August- September 2009. It would be wonderful to meet some people to chat to. I would love to really be involved in the cultures of Bulgaria and Turkey (where I finish my travels in Istanbul) and talk to you all about your experiences! I am currently between flats but am always about for a cup of tea in London if you would like to!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I havent had any couchsurfers as yet but I am couchsurfing in Sofia and the advice I have been given has been amazing. It has made me feel so much less apprehensive! I would love to have couchsurfers in the future.

Interests

I love books and writing- there is so much that you can learn about people and places. My journel is an amazing thing- it really helps me to think about the day! In the future I would like to work with an NGO, maybe with children in the UK or Asia (alot of my course is about legal systems of Bangladesh and Pakistan). This has always fascinated me ! Also I cant wait to one day do a spirtual journey through Tibet, India! That would be incredible.

So many so just two from each!
Books: Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde and My Family and Other Animals by Gerrald Durrell have to be two of my all time favourites.
Music: Rusted Root and Ani Difranco- both amazing!
Movies: Tea With Mussolini and Charlotte Gray (although it makes me cry!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Winter Palace of Russia- looking through the windows at the Communist flats- felt like a mini portal into different periods of time!
Florida- going alligator watching with someone we had only just met- named Mr De- ath !! He was incredible (despite being alittle terrifying)
