Hi :) my name is Kathy. From this big country that is canada, Born and raised in Quebec province (yes i am french canadian), currently living in Montreal but always away from home since im working on contract (must likely with natives nations from northern Canada).
Been studying in fashion and clothing in the past, and been managing restaurant for plenty years also. I work as a nurse right now, and feels im doing exactly what i am supposed to at this moment of my life. Love the contact with human, and love to feel i can help someone. Even if i moved from a fashion career, i still love art in every way and make sure i stay open to this artist vibe every time the flow comes in me ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This world is so diverse! I wish i could see every corner of it, meet with people from every religion, and culture. On every trip i made, i found a hidden knowledge, not on others but deep inside myself.
So far i never had the experience of hosting someone (because i am always away from home), and met someone from this site only once, but it was a very good experience. I feel everyone one here have this same positive feeling about travelling, and/or meeting people from different countries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Lived in Haiti on/off for 11 years, help many street kids along the way
- Work with first nation in northern Canada
- Being a proud God mother of 4 beautiful children
- Travelled all alone on all my trip except 2 (Haiti and Ecuador), with my backpack and my ownself
- Went to the amazonian jungle with a friend and a native guide, it was AMAZING, fought many deep fears i had.
