ABOUT ME

My Husband and I love to meet new people. We have always opened our home to travelers or college students needing a basement apartment to rent (which we do now)Our 2 children have graduated from Liberty University and are continuing education in Law School(24 yr. old Daughter) and Theatre Production (22 yr. old son) Both our children are Couch surfers, but have not used it yet..because of School...this is a cool concept and we are very open to anyone needing a place to stay for a few days. We are very close to Washington DC-2hours and Williamsburg Va-3 hrs., we also live right beside Thomas Jefferson's summer home-called Poplar Forest which is a historical sight and museum and 1 hour from Monticello in Charlottesville VA, also in the area are many Winery's famous to Virginia and the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway.

Interests

We have hosted many students' in the past from France. I was a coordinator of families and an event planner for their stay of 4 weeks here in Virginia. We love event and party planning. My husband is a Professional Counselor and I am a Realtor. We have also been Foster Parents to high risk teens for 12 years and presently have 2 siblings (13 and 14 yr. old brother and sister) We love hiking and traveling as well as movie nights and games with friends. We also love our community as well as our church family and God!
We have always been engaged with our children and their friends and always have an open house for others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Pretty much dream of being Awestruck by God's amazing creation as My husband and I begin to travel more -now that we are empty-nesters...excited to get this show on the ROAD!!..OTHER THAN THAT I AM AWESTRUCK BY THE DIVERSITY THAT IS OURS IN THIS WORLD AND LOVE ALL PEOPLE!!!
