About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To try and live a little while I'm alive
ABOUT ME
I love satire, strange facts, music, camping, film stuff, weird stuff, humor, and anything creative. I swear a lot. I'm very weary of people who like the band "Rush".
PHILOSOPHY
Treat others the way you want to be treated.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have a friend in Salt Lake City who hosts a lot of surfers and she has always gone on and on about how freaking cool it is, while I just listened and wished I could be her for a day.
Then in 2013 I moved to an amazing area near Yellowstone Nat'l Park. I had room in my house. Finally! So I signed myself on up to host. I got to host several surfers and it was such an awesome way to meet people and introduce them to the area in a non-touristy way.
I will remember the surfers I hosted always and my life is enriched for having met them. I love the CS community and can't wait till I am able to host again someday soon, or experience it as a surfer myself!
I just recently moved to Portland, OR and as of now due to roommates and animals, no room for surfers. But that will change in the not too distant future. I'm kicking the animals out to make room.
(Just kidding. I'm waiting for a specific property to become available and then I'll move there and host like there's no tomorrow.)

Way too many to list. But I'll name one of each. Ruben and Ed, Adrien Orange and His Band, An Underground Education.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Such a hard question! But sailing in Greece was extraordinary.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm in the constant process of teaching myself to make little films and love to teach or be taught anything about filmmaking.
I love to cook and am always super excited to learn new dishes.
I'm a huge fan of music and love to share it, hear it, see it - anything with music is good good good.
I'm completely amazed and inspired by just about anything if the person telling me about it is passionate. I used to think that a conversation about calculus would be a bore and a torture. But then I went on a date where the guy was, like, insanely in love with calculus. It might be the most interesting and magical conversation I've ever had.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm not crazy or obnoxious. I'm easy going and very respectful. I love adventures and to meet new people. I'm equally happy talking all night long or making an ass out of myself at karaoke or chilling with a book. I'd say I'm on the shy side and pretty quiet overall. I'd rather have a handful of good friends than a giant gaggle of people I only sort of know. I can regale you with a hilarious story about a drunk voicemail my friend left for me once, and other such silliness.
