Hi everyone!
I'm Kate!
I live in Greece...
I just graduated from University and I'm searching for my dream job, which is related to Cosmetic Chemistry...I also work as a freelance Beautician!Meanwhile, I try to learn new things and participate in events and parties as much as I can!For years my dream is to travel around the world but I always postpone this because of minor problems but I think that we should follow our dreams everyday!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that you truly get to know a city when a local shows you around and not with tourist travel guides!I want to travel all over the world and actually get to know the cities, their little secrets and the mindset of the people around!
I also believe that the Couchsurfing idea will give me ( and other members too) the opportunity to visit some places that otherwise I wouldn't be able to.

I would be glad to share my couch with you, however I still live with my parents and my brothers on the outskirts of Athens, so it would be crowded and way far from Athens...But I'm planning to move soon so my couch will be available for you too!

I can still show you around Athens,suggest cozy places and nice sights for you to see , drink coffee with you and take nice walks!

Interests

Listening to good music, walking around the streets with my friends, taking photos, drinking coffee in nice places, movies at home and eating in ethnic restaurants!

I'm also a TV junkie but I try to limit the series I watch so that I can have new episodes to anticipate! If you watch Game of Thrones, you'll understand me!:)

When feeling creative, I like making little things such as key chains and teddy bear crafts!Now I'm more into Decoupage and adding googly eyes to various things to transform them!

Music, Movies, and Books

Metal mostly, but I also like Gothic, EBM ,Industrial, Electro, R&B and 90s pop!:)

I enjoy all kinds of movies, especially the ones that makes you think, but also thrillers, comedies and dramas too!

Books?So many in my library but no time to read them (yet)!Prefer them in public transport to make time pass quickly!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Everyday is amazing in it's own way!My best experiences so far were a trip to Rome, a cruise to Aegean sea, my first camping trip with just a backpack,my 7 o'clock Yoga Lessons and a failed attempt to ride a donkey in Rhodes Island!(It wasn't so fun back then!)
However, I have a large bucket list of things to do soon!Some of these...Try Aerial Yoga, visit Disneyland in Paris, work out and participate in a marathon,play Badminton like a pro, and maybe take a second degree in University!And a Eurotrip!

Teach, Learn, Share

If you visit Athens you'll get to know the beauty of this city as a local, you'll take long walks with the view of Acropolis, taste nice foods and coffee, visit many nice places and take photos!
If you host me I can give you advice for your beauty and well- being, I can teach you to write your name in Greek(!), I can cook a nice, hearty meal for you and we will take many photos together!But I'm eager to learn from you too, try your local foods, see your habits and walk around your city too!

What I Can Share with Hosts

My couch is occupied by my family for now but I can show you around Athens, introduce you to the little spots that make this city beautiful,have a good time with you, and help you in whatever you need!
