I'm an American student who is currently studying abroad at the University of Bristol. I grew up in suburban New Jersey and attend my local state university, so I'm looking forward to seeing new places and new things : )

I like reading a lot (I'm majoring in English literature). And I usually follow politics pretty closely, especially because the American election has been so crazy lately. I'm moderately outdoorsy---I like hiking,biking, and camping.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Choosing a favorite makes me too anxious so I'm going to list some stuff I like for all three categories

Music-I generally like pop music that's kind of atmospheric and moody like Grimes and FKA Twigs. I'm not above listening to top 40.

Movies-I really loved Carol. I also enjoy watching movies that I know are stupid (like really dumb romantic comedies or thrillers) and then making fun of them.

Books-My true passion haha. Since I'm at University, I've been studying a lot of literature from the 18th and 19th centuries. So from that, I really liked Vanity Fair and Joseph Andrews. Jane Eyre is another one of my favorites. As for more modern stuff, I like George Orwell a lot and Revolutionary Road.

I've hiked up Mount Olympus, although it's a pretty easy hike so I don't know how amazing that makes it.

hmm...I'm not that great of a cook but I can do basic things like make pasta. Hopefully, we can have interesting conversations : )
