I just moved back to vancouver
i always end up feeling that things happen for a reason
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
it's been almost too good
singing, hiking, dancing, singing some more, good books, meeting new people, cooking, spices, vegetarianism, languages, self-propelled motion, going more slowly than I'm used to, sustainability, the great outdoors, yoga, cheese, swing dancing, ceasars, psychology, brains, buttons, sunsets, not being subject to circumstance, thrift stores, travelling, couchsurfing, snowboarding, soul-saving conversations, jazz, innovative percussion, photos, tvlessnes, being crafty, running, kayaking, live music, beaches, islands, outdoor movies, bright colours, mountains, tea parties
Music, Movies, and Books
Too much judgement can be passed on ones taste in books, but I love a good novel.. and Chris raschka´s illustrated beats. Dr. Seuss too... he´s classic.
As for movies, I love the Tripletts of Belleville, and
Into the Wild.
I've never heard anything more penetrating than Ravi & Anoushka Shankar, but at the moment I'd like to listen to more slide guitar and banjo perhaps...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
swam in phosphorescence, i felt like mickey mouse in fantasia!
Teach, Learn, Share
From my Russian roots, I have carried on a devout love for beets (nutritious AND delicious).
I can thus share some rockin' beet recipes with you, if, of course, you don't mind getting your hands a little red for the sake of awesome.
and now that I've read the CS uni message... I friggin love talking about psychology related stuff.
