Edward Abbey sums up how I feel about life, “There are some good things to be said about walking... It stretches time and prolongs life. Life is already too short to waste on speed... Walking makes the world much bigger and thus more interesting. You have time to observe the details."

I treasure each life experience as it comes and I aim to be content in all things. The large majority of life is how we perceive it. Thus, I strive to find the silver lining in all things. Sometimes that lining can be quite small, however it is still there.

As a guest I am very low maintenance, the main thing that I need is a roof over my head. I am not big on the party scene but I really enjoy smaller groups and rich conversations.

I joined couchsurfing to meet people and gain a better understanding of the places I go and cultures that I experience. One of my main goals is to not look like a tourist. I want to take in the culture through the eyes of someone who lives there. So what better place to get connected to awesome people living in exciting places?

When I go to my book shelf I am most likely to grab one of the following books: The Rock Warriors's Way, Till We Have Faces, The Story, We Die Alone, or any anatomy and physiology book.
