I am an enthusiastic, friendly and outgoing person with a passion for travelling and meeting new people!
I have loads of different interests, from sport to music, and love learning about different cultures and ways of life! I am a little bit sport mad, and play sport on a daily basis and love to try new activities and sports! Apart from that, I really enjoy experiencing new things, especially being immersed in local cultures and traditions as I think I've completely exhausted my home town!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have travelled before and want to share my experiences with people who know what they are talking about. I am hoping to travel as much as I can and meet as many people as possible so that I can learn from them and get a true taste of a place!

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste is extremely diverse from cheesy classics like S Club 7 to indie to dance music. I enjoy most types of music and my iPod always provides me with an unexpected treat when on shuffle! I enjoy reading but don't get the chance to read much when teaching, as I'm usually reading children's work instead! Enjoy all types of movies really- but can't beat a good action film or a chick flick on those days you need one!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have swam with whale sharks in Mexico- this has got to be hands down the best thing I have ever done! I was blown away with the sheer size and tranquility of them- we have photos and videos if anyone is interested in seeing them :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I am pretty good with kids (you should hope so after 7 years of working in education) and have also taught English in Thailand. I could help kids with their studies and homework and would also be willing to coach/ teach new sports!

I would love to be able to cook something different than my three signature dishes (one of which is beans on toast) and would love to be able to come back home and cook a new dish for my family!
