I live on a small island in Alaska with my husband, bulldog, and hairless cat (my husband is allergic to cats). We live in a beautiful float house in the harbor. I love how cozy small it is, but that means we're not very able to host folks that are passing through.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My stepfather is having heart surgery in Bellingham. My mother came down with the flu so she won't be able to be in the hospital with him to help him recover. As such, I am flying down, but it would be difficult for my husband and I to afford the cost of hotels while I'm down there staying with my stepdad.

Interests

I love to read, paint, sew and play music. I recently wrote a collection of children's songs and lullabies and recorded them.
