I grew up in a small town in New Zealand called Taupo. I went to university in Auckland and have been living in Auckland for 8 years. I love Auckland, such an awesome city but time to get out and about for a few years.

I have worked in the Insurance industry since I graduated. Currently working in a team that is involved with the Christchurch Earthquakes that happened four years ago.

I am easy to get along with and will give most things a go. I love a good coffee and exploring new places.

I have just quit my job and heading off to do some travel.
I am doing a road trip through California including going to Coachella and will then be going Mexico and Guatemala for two months.
Then off to London to work for a couple of years.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couch surfing as I want to meet some new people while I am travelling. I want to get tips from the locals of what are the best sites of their city.

Interests

I am an avid sports person. Enjoy both playing and watching. My main sports are field Hockey and Tennis. Currently also playing Softball and Touch Rugby. I also enjoy running, cycling and hiking/walking.

I love food and beer! Love the outdoors - beach and snow, a good book, cooking/baking and markets.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Is go to Aitutaki, which is in The Cook Islands. I am lucky enough to have a friend that is from there so have been twice.
It is such a beautiful place, if you haven't heard of it (which most people haven't) look it up. If you visit New Zealand you really have to go!
