Aloha! My name is Katie and I'm just a 22 trying to see as much of the world as I can. I'm from Hawaii, but right now, I'm living in Spain teaching English. The outdoors is where I love to be and my philosophy is that you can get to know a culture through food. I truly believe that the world is a beautiful place because some of the happiest moment in my life have been made through traveling and meeting different people.

I'm on Couchsurfing because it's a wonderful way to get to know the culture of wherever in the world you are, and you will be able to leave with new friends and new memories that will last a lifetime. I hope to offer my couch when I return to Hawaii!

I can teach you how to cook a wide spread of Chinese, Japanese, and Hawaiian food. Exchanging recipes is something that I hope to do in my travel, so one day I can make a cookbook with recipes from all the places I've visited!

I'm a chill, fun person who enjoys living as the locals do, and I'm open to trying pretty much anything!
