I've recently graduated and work with kids and families as a pediatric occupational therapist. I love my work and also love travel, art, and the outdoors.

I wanted to go to my friend's wedding across and the country, and could barely afford the plane ticket! I enjoy meeting new people and exploring new places! Have had a great experience couch surfing so far, and look forward to more in the future.

"Language happens anytime two people agree to understand each other."

I can't remember where I first heard this quote, but it reminds me of the supportive strangers who assisted my language learning as I traveled, of the goofy jokes I have with my sisters that make so much sense (only to us), and of the kids I work with who have autism, who communicate with more than just words.
