I'm majoring in bio (ecology and evolution), and minoring in education. I think I want to become a teacher someday; I've been a swim instructor for some time and I really love to work with kids. I also love being outdoors and I am a staff person with the Excursion Club at UCSB. Check out the website, it's really cool!

Dlaczego jestem na Couchsurfing

I haven't been feeling inspired by school for some time now and I feel that by travelling I can accomplish and learn more than if I finish my degree as fast as I can.

Zainteresowania

Anything outdoors. I can't get enough of it. I like to hike, camp, snowboard, wakeboard, and generally play on rocks or in the ocean. If you hit me up, I will probably be down. When I'm indoors, you might find me watching cooking shows or a tv show/movie in French or Spanish.

Muzyka, filmy i książki

Buddhism: Plain & Simple was the first book I ever read about Buddhism and really helped open me up to new ideas, people and experiences. It's extra special since my dad gave it to me. I also really enjoy listening to electronic music. I like exploring soundcloud and finding new songs/mixes to either sit back and relax or to get amped while I'm in the shower.

Jedna niesamowita rzecz, którą zrobiłem(-am)

You might have noticed that in my picture I'm wearing a fluffy yellow suit of some kind. Well, last year on the weekend before Halloween I participated in a bungee jump costume contest. So I bought a mascot-esque chicken costume, and jumped off a bridge while wearing it (I won). Since then, I thought it'd be funny to wear it and take pictures in it (instagram: @deepfriedchick), and I even wore it at Burning Man (that's the picture that you see, but I didn't take very many pictures there, and none with the head unfortunately). So it's not really amazing, but now I explained the picture I chose and you learned more about me, so two birds one stone.
