ABOUT ME

I love my work and have gratitude for how everything has aligned and come together with seemingly little effort. I work hard in the spring and find plenty of time the rest of the year to get out and enjoy the great outdoors in this beautiful area we live. I love to ski, mountain bike, play in the lake, hike, do yoga...you name it, I will probably be willing to try even if I never have before. I am very social and love my time with my friends. Sparking up a conversation with strangers is not a problem for me.

November is my favorite time to travel abroad. I have finished with my business for the season, it is too cold for me to mountain bike, and ski season hasn't begun. I would be willing to travel nearly anywhere and don't usually make that plan too far in advance. I usually end up traveling to places I never knew I even wanted to go.

Since originally creating this profile, I have changed my career, but still can say the same about my new career as my previous one In regards to loving it and having things fall into place with just a little determination. It is allowing me to travel more throughout the year and visit many new places.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have had many traveling guests stay with me, none of whom I have met on this site. I just meet them in my daily life and offer them a bed/shower. It feels great to have the space to share.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I am traveling, particularly on ski trips, but also abroad, I have had so many people in which I have just met open their doors to me. It is a great feeling to know a stranger can trust you in their home. It is also a great way to learn more about the area in which I am visiting. Some these people I have been back to visit time and time again.
