I'm Katie from Hungary.
Currently I am living in Groningen (Netherlands). I was a homeless student for 3 months and at the beginning of my journey some cool people from couch-surfing saved my life here in the Netherlands.
Besides, I had several amazing experiences through couch surfing in different points of the world. It is amazing how many uniquely generous people surround us. My staying in Turkey, Georgia, the Netherlands, Germany and Greece were all memorable and I would like to explore and see more of those amazing people out there who are open to others and go against of the individualistic trends of building barriers between each other.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

The whole concept is just directly and explicitly goes against our alienation typical to our modern society. A different and unique way of getting to know an other country/city and valuable people. It is an extremely out-of-confort zone way of socialising a social media platform which actually connects people and not push them further away from each other.
