I am easy-going, eager to learn, ready for adventure, and excited by meeting new people.

I love to get to know people beyond a surface level and I am so interested it meeting people from all across the world learning more about them as individuals and about their culture as I travel this summer and fall.

When I'm not traveling, I teach ballroom dance to 5th graders in the Bronx. I also like to take dance classes/go out dancing, write, watch movies, create dance, perform, drink tea, and spend time with my family and friends.

I am on Couchsurfing because I want to experience cultures authentically. I want share stories, spend time, and to get to know the people in the places I'm traveling to, not just see the sights.

Dance, theatre, hiking/biking, photography, learning foreign languages, cooking, reading good books, exploring places I've never been, hand-writing letters, teaching kids, journaling, swimming, tea parties, chocolate, honest conversation.
