I recently set out from Las Vegas with a work and holiday visa for Australia. I'm interested in exploring SE Asia and Australasia. Previously, I was an academic advisor for the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. I grew up in California but have also lived in Oregon. I have a bachelor's degree in social science from Portland State University and am working on my master's degree in educational psychology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas online while traveling.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love EDM, but also enjoy most other styles of music. I don't watch a lot of tv or movies, but I do really like starting tv shows that have already ended so I can watch as many episodes as I want, whenever I want. I am a big Game of Thrones fan, too. I read quite a bit - mostly fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Making the decision to leave my comfortable, secure home and job in Las Vegas in order to fulfill my dream of seeing as much of the world as I possibly can in my short, single life. One of the best afternoons of my life was spent reading a book at cafe on the Seine until the sun set, then having a delicious raspberry charlotte at said cafe. Everyone walking by just seemed so at ease and content, and the evening was so beautiful...I fell in love with Paris, and knew I needed to keep seeing more of this wonderful world we live in.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to improve my language skills in French, German, and Spanish. I also enjoy learning how to cook foods enjoyed by other cultures. I can share good conversation about books and world issues. I would also be happy to help any fellow students with editing and research!
