I love traveling and hearing about other people's travels. I was born and raised in Alaska, but I've also lived in Oregon, California, and just recently moved to Tennessee with my partner, Todd.

I write every day, and writing is a creative and cathartic outlet.

I'm a social introvert! I love to meet and talk with people, and like a little alone time, too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Todd introduced me to couchsurfing, and we've hosted a variety of travelers since 2012. I have absolutely loved meeting the couchsurfers and hearing about their adventures and life experiences.

I've started a couchsurfing account of my own because I would like to try the surfing side myself! :-)

I love to travel, I love to write, I enjoy photography, and I am very interested in ancient sites and their mysteries.

I love going for walks, hikes and just being outdoors whenever possible.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I built a log outhouse, almost all by myself... I did have help installing the roof. It was the best-smelling outhouse ever!! And it matched my log cabin. <3 I do miss those cabin-going days!
