Hello! I am 26 years old. I recently graduated from the Evergreen State College. And I am currently applying for programs in Marriage and Family Counseling. For work, I nanny. I’ve been with them for over a year and we treat each other like family. I am an extremely loving, empathetic, and caring person. I love to connect with others and broaden my understanding of people. My desire in life is to help people dissolve any barriers that get in the way of connection, so that we can have more loving, nurturing, and fulfilling relationships in our lives.

My partner and I are both done with our undergraduate degrees and we want to celebrate by taking a month long road trip, slowly making our way to LA. We’ll be visiting Mount Shasta, Redwood forest, Big Sur, Yosemite, and more. We’re hoping to make new friends through couch surfing, and share amazing experiences with those we meet.

I love all kinds of music. But lately I’ve been listening to Max Richter, Ben Howard, Billy Holiday, Nina Simone, Jeff Buckley, Cocteau Twins, Cold Play, Dessert Dwellers, Eluvium, Iron and Wine, Joni Mitchell, Nick Drake, Nils Frahm etc I’ve been reading books by Carl Rogers and Sue Johnson. I haven’t read a whole lot of fiction lately, but right now I’m reading White Oleander. I’ve been really wanting to watch more movies by Alfred Hitchcock.

I am really passionate about a practice called Authentic Relating. Authentic Relating is an interpersonal communication practice that really helps us to move past the social barriers of our society and helps us to have more real and intimate connections with others. I’ve been practicing/facilitating this form of relating for my community for over two years.
