Hey, I’m Katie! I was born & raised on Long Island, NY and lived in New England for a few years. Now I live 30 minutes north of NYC with my partner and my senior dog, Sasha. I hung up my dental hygiene scrubs during COVID and currently work for a small tech startup that manufactures a robot that helps individuals with disabilities to feed themselves.

Working remotely allows me to travel freely and meet awesome folks around the world 🙂

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My family hosted exchange students and Couchsurfers when I was younger, and we still keep in touch with them.

I think if you’re not able to travel yourself, talking to someone from a different place is the next best thing. Cultural exchanges broaden our perspective and teach us that we have more in common than we think.
