ABOUT ME

I am a happy-go-lucky person who is very laid back. I love trying new things more than anything else in the world. I am very social and love food, travelling, the outdoors and theatre! I love a good conversation and a nice coffee and beer and exploring wherever I go.

I just finished section hiking part of the PCT! I am visiting LA for the first time for a few days and am looking for a place to stay and for some cool suggestions of restaurants and bars and activities to do!

Interessen

I love being on stage. I have been performing all my life (piano concerts, highland dance shows, plays, musicals, choirs, etc.). It is part of me, and I take it with me wherever I go.
I also love to be outside. If I could always be outside, I would chose that. I love hiking and canoeing and swimming.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I don't really discriminate against any music. I try to take things for what they are and appreciate them for that.

I love reading. Right now I'm into Tom Robbins and travel books and Gabriel Garcia Marquez. But I also love Anne of Green Gables and the Hungar Games and Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

1) The time when I realized that Ottawa is beautiful; Went to a piano concerto at the NAC in Ottawa and after, my date and I walked down to Parliament Hill and the lights were shining over Quebec and the Ottawa river and the stars were shining and it was really a perfect moment.
2) Abel Tasman Park; climbed a short track near Howard's Hole up to the ridge of these small but amazing mountains. They were jagged and rocky and they looked out onto a field of green farms. The clouds hung low and misty but moved around so you could see in and out of the scenery. Unreal.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I love to learn. It's the best part of life. Sometimes the best way to learn is through sharing what you know and seeing what other people have to say about it. I'm also a certified yoga teacher (200 hours) and I recently received a certification to be a downhill ski instructor.

Was ich mit Gastgebern teilen kann

I am high energy so I can definitely bring that. I am also a conversationalist as long as the other person is open to conversation. I know some about books and camping also. And I'd love to teach some yoga, its great practice for me and I'd love to give back!
