ABOUT ME

I'm an American student studying abroad in France from 12/31/09 - 4/26/10

I love meeting new people and learning about other cultures and parts of the world. I've only seen a tiny bit, but have loved travelling France, partying in San Sebastian, Spain and my 5 day vacation to Rome.

I'm currently working in Alaska, but am originally from Seattle, WA!

PHILOSOPHY

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Trying to travel as much as I can, but man my pockets are starting to get empty. A friend told me about couch surfing and I think it sounds like a great idea!!
Can't wait to start surfing and hope to one day host people in Seattle!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have yet to have one....but as an exchange student I love my host family. My host mom is super sweet and feeds me delicious French dinners!! Her lifestyle is very different from my parents so it has been interesting to live here!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rome was INCREDIBLE!! Loved the trevi fountain, spanish steps, colosseum, palatino, sistine chapel and above all St Peters. I will never again see something so grand and ornate - It was absolutely beautiful!

But for me, the best sites of all are the back patio overlooking the beach at Whidbey Island, WA.

Teach, Learn, Share

Be polite and helpful to others and appreciate it when people go out of their way for you. Too many people go through this world with their head in the clouds, trying to get by and accomplish only their goals in life without seeing the paths of those around them
