ABOUT ME

I just graduated cum laude (May '11) from the Missisissippi University for Women (which admits men--funny story) with a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing and Spanish. Currently, I take boards on Monday (6/6) and I start working in the NICU at a local hospital soon after. :) So, I'm studying like a mad woman. I'm native to Jackson, been in the area basically all my life and can show you around the more popular places, and even some rather distant ones.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now, I can show you around pretty much anywhere in the greater Jackson area. My schedule is a little limited, as I'm currently studying for boards. If you're also studying for boards, I'd be happy to get together and discuss nursing school over a coffee! :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music-wise, I am a quirky one. I'm just as likely to listen to Harry Potter music (W-Rock), Irish music (the Fuchsia Band, mostly), Reggaeton, Blues, Jazz, and new poppy ballads. I can pretty much listen to anything but country. :)

Movies-I love many comedies, romantic or not. I love to laugh. I'll never watch a scary movie alone. And usually the lights have to be on, too.

Books--the classics: Jane Austen, Bronte sisters, J.K. Rowling ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have helped deliver babies as a student nurse. :)

Teaching: crochet, a little knitting, baking
Learning: I need to learn to cook! I could improve my knitting skills, and I attempt to learn every language I'm presented with.
