About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My current mission is to learn as much as I can while I'm in India.
ABOUT ME
My permanent address is in Lincoln, Nebraska where I go to school and work at Gallup doing surveys. Right now, however, I'm studying Hindi and development in Jaipur, India. I really like learning about new things, to the point where it's getting a little out of control because I keep adding majors when I really should be graduating. So far I've pretty much stayed in Jaipur, but I would like to see more of India before I leave.
PHILOSOPHY
Nothing is permanent. You gotta roll with the punches and try to live without regrets!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
So far I've only surfed. Hopefully someday soon I'll graduate, get a big-girl job and move into an apartment big enough to host!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've only been couch surfing once, in the Netherlands, but it was an awesome experience. I met a lot of cool people. It was much better than staying in hostels because I was able to meet local people, make new friends and learn about their interests.
Interests
traveling (like most of us), reading the news and books, watching tv and movies, interneting, and I especially like geeking out about politics

Music, Movies, and Books
Most of the books I've read over the past four years have been assigned to me, but I like non-fiction so that was ok. I mostly listen to punk and psychobilly. Some of my favorite bands are The Distillers, The Creepshow, NOFX and Rancid.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was younger some friends and I rode camels into the Sahara desert and slept under the stars. We saw the sunrise and then rode back. It was beautiful. Nowadays I think it's especially amazing when I get new niece or nephew and when my best friends succeed at the things they are passionate about.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach anyone to make a mean macaroni and cheese from scratch (my current host family really appreciated that) or how to take one-handed tequila shots with cinnamon and orange. I like trying to understand how individuals' experiences shape the way they see the world, and would love to learn from each other and exchange views on how the world works and what direction it's headed in.
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Belgium, France, Hungary, Ireland, Morocco, Netherlands, Switzerland, United Kingdom
Countries I’ve Lived In
Germany, India, United States
