ABOUT ME

I'm Katie. I'm very fun-loving, easy-going, and friendly. I could easily have a conversation with a wall, but only if the wall wanted to. :)

PHILOSOPHY

I have a passion for experiencing everything, everyone, and everywhere. I want to know what life is like from all perspectives and am always willing to try new things. I think people are the most interesting facets of this world and that's why I want to devote my life to them.

I'm undyingly optimistic, but more on the realistic side. I try to see the silver-lining in all situations and not let the little (or the big) things get me down. I think everything happens for a reason, or gets you to where you're going, and you need to take the good with the bad to get the most out of your experiences. Learning is what life is all about, and sometimes the best lessons are the hardest!

I've hosted and surfed, both have been great. I really like being able to help sustain the travel community. In the times we live in, it's nice to know sometimes you can count on strangers.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

I think one of the most amazing views I've come across so far was sitting at the top of Matthias Church in Budapest at night, overlooking the lit up Danube River, and drinking mulled wine with two of my best friends. Watching the snow slowly fall against the lights of Parliament and the Chain Bridge is something I will never forget.
