I graduated from college with a degree in Spanish a little more than a year ago. I went to school in upstate New York but I'm originally from Ohio. I moved to Philadelphia after that and really enjoyed the big city but not too big city vibe. Since then, I've moved to Chile with my friend and travel companion, Chelsea. We're currently living and volunteering in Valparaiso through Workaway. We met studying abroad in Granada, Spain. When we finished our semester there we knew that wasn't going to be the end of Spanish travel adventures and now here we find ourselves in South America, embracing the culture and trying to see everything we can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I couchsurfed a couple times when I was backpacking through Europe after living in Spain and it was a great experience. Some of best places I've visited in cities have been on the recommendation of a Couchsurfing host. I really enjoy the personal addition it gives to seeing new places.
Both Chelsea and I are very easygoing; we just want to see everything we possibly can and love host recommedations. We love to meet new people and hear stories of their travels as well. Couchsurfing is just a super easy, convenient was to travel and I think you get so much out of the experience than you would just by staying at a hostel or hotel.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Chelsea and I both really enjoy cooking and would love to make you a meal! I'm pescatarian so it will definitely be veg friendly. We have no formal cooking experience but love trying out new, local ingredients.
