I think meeting the last member of my grandfather's generation in croatia was pretty darn cool...and holding my own in a 100% Hrvatski conversation with her!

Banana boats are a delicious dessert made for the outdoor lifestyle. These are best enjoyed at a campfire.

Ingredients:
1 large banana
A handful of mini marshmellows (or big ones ripped apart)
1 chocolate bar
Some aluminum foil (enough to wrap banana)

Method:
Score the banana vertically with a sharp knife or other tool, cutting through the fruit itself. Do not cut completely in half. Open banana. Stuff with marshmellows and chocolate. Attempt to close banana. Wrap banana in aluminum foil. Either bake the banana or, as I learned at camp- nestle it inside some glowing embers of a bonfire. Wait about 9 minutes. YUM!
