I am just getting started on couch surfing. Hopefully when I find a place to live I will be able to host as well.

I have friends who have used it all over the world and think it is an amazing and friendly way to support travelers or people in transition in their life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last summer myself and 5 other people paddled (in canoes) from Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada to the Arctic Ocean along a series of lakes, creeks and the Coppermine Rive. We traveled 1,000 miles in 39 days. It was a trip of a life time. Along the way we saw musk ox...most interesting animal I have seen in the wild. My profile picture is from that trip.

Teach, Learn, Share

I make a wicked kale salad. Can throw a frisbee forehand and backhand and can teach you how to as well. Grew up in Germany on a military base and moved to the US when I was 17, did a lot of traveling before I officially entered adulthood. Know how to knit and sew and have a curiosity for new places and the people that live there. I ask good questions.
