ABOUT ME

I am on a University exchange at Penn State University, soon I will be done with exams and essays and hopefully do lots of travelling before my visa expires and I have to go home.

When I get back to New Zealand I will have a couch, at the moment all I have is a tiny bed in a dorm at Penn State.

I'm new to CS, but hopefully soon I will have something interesting to write here.

Interests

mountain biking, hiking (tramping!), swimming in the sea...or lakes or rivers- even if it's freezing, being with my friends, reading, finding new hats to wear, planning my next trip when I should be writing an essay.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love books, I like to read short stories, especially Alice Munro, Lorrie Moore, Raymond Carver and Donald Barthelme.
I like too much music to list, but Iron and Wine, Andrew Bird, The National, M Ward, Fleet Foxes and The Shins are at the top of my list.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teach, Learn, Share

I make a pretty good guacamole, and a yummy cous cous and roast vege salad, I can teach you how to make those.

I like to share my books.

I want to learn more languages, so any contribution to my meagre knowledge is always appreciated.
