ABOUT ME

My name is Katie and I am an outgoing individual who loves to travel and meet new people. I really started traveling when I went on Semester at Sea in 2010 and haven't really stopped. I have traveled to many countries, but I love to embrace new people and cultures. I am studying to be a social worker and have a passion for giving back to others. I am always down for some adventure and to try something new :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just recently joined CS and I am still in school, but as soon as I get my own place I would love to host. Until then, I am always down to chat and meet new people who are traveling. I will also be traveling soon and using others' couches to sleep, so I am totally excited for that!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have traveled around the world, staying in hostels, ships, and crashing with friends, but I have yet to use Couch Surfers' couches to travel. This January will be my first time staying on someone's couch, so I will keep you posted :)

I love...Animals, art, music, dancing, traveling, making new friends, photos (if you are around me I will probably take a picture of you at some point), eating and trying new foods, reality shows (guilty pleasure), and baking

音乐、电影和书籍

I love Tuesdays with Morrie and anything written by Mitch Albom or Jodi Picoult. When I have free time I love to read.

As for music, I pretty much love it all, with the exception of most country songs. I love to dance and sing along, even though I am good at neither. I am always down to hear new artists and listen to interesting songs, so if you have recommendations, let me know.

When it comes to movies I love the classics and am trying to watch more and more of the "Greats", but I am down for a comedy, horror, or love story too.
