ABOUT ME

I am a very sociable human being from Glasgow. I love to travel and to meet people of different cultures. I spent 4 years teaching English abroad in Taiwan, Vietnam, Egypt and Mexico and totally loved it! Sometimes I wonder why I am back in Bonnie Scotland! In Glasgow I spend my time reading, I always have a book on the go and like fiction and non-fiction. I also like to watch movies, especially world movies. I love a good laugh and think I have a good sense of humour! I also like a drink, the Scottish favorite, whisky! I am also very interested in human rights and current affairs and like a good old debate!

PHILOSOPHY

I like to treat other people how I like to get treated myself. We are all human beings and deserve to be treated equally. Do your best to help others especially those that are unable to help themselves. Where is that halo?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My living arrangements have changed and I can no longer host people but could show you some good, friendly pubs in Glasgow. Previously had surfers from Spain, France and Greece.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have just come back from a fantastic time in Norway staying with Bente and Pal in Hvitsen! One of the most beautiful natural environments I have been in! A fantastic time had by all! Can't wait to go back!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love world movies and movies where I feel I can learn something. Not so keen on the big blockbusters! I love reading and am currently reading Bodies by Susan Orbach which is very interesting! I don't so much have favorite authors or film directors its more if the topic grabs my interest.
