About Me
CURRENT MISSION
See as much of the world as possible
ABOUT ME
I just got back from China, where I taught English for one term. I have a strong interest in Chinese culture and history (and most other world cultures and history). I'm an avid reader and knitter, as well as a seamstress and costumer. I love theatre and I'm a bit of a geek.
PHILOSOPHY
My personal philosophy is to always improve myself. I'm not always good at it, and sometimes I forget the lessons I've learned, but I keep trying. It's very important to me to always continue learning new things and broadening my mind.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I can't host anybody right now because I'm living with my grandfather, who can't take guests, but once I get my own place, I'll be happy to host any CS members. In the meantime, I plan to attend Chicago CS events.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite movies (and TV) and books are usually sci-fi/fantasy like Harry Potter, Star Trek, Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, the Lord of the Rings, etc. As for music, I like folk rock, indie rock, some dance music, and some mainstream. To give you an idea, my 25 most played songs according to iTunes include songs by Queen, Radiohead, Peter Mulvey, Jimi Hendrix, Regina Spektor and a bunch of indie artists who I only have one song from.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
4 days in Lhasa. Tibet is an experience beyond words. I know that sounds like a cop-out, but every time I try to describe it, it sounds really lame.
