ABOUT ME

Outdoors and preferably dirty is where I'm happiest - hiking, cycling, swimming or roaming the streets of a new city! The owner of a hostel I stayed at told me that I look too sporty to be a mechanical engineer but they gave me a degree in it anyway so that probably wasn't a criterion. I love food and cooking, picnics, giant inflatables and making lists.
I'm currently living with my boyfriend in beautiful Munich which is excellent - I ate three pretzels and a pickle today just to remind myself where I was.
I've been spoiled enough to see a lot of places and am a bit tired of schlepping from church to palace to museum the whole time and I've found couchsurfing a meaningful way to add an extra dimension to travel.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Meeting up mostly at the moment :) The apartment seems to have a constant stream of friends and family on the sofabed, which keeps us busy!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Climbed over a fence with Paul in Lyon to get the nighttime view over the city, talked engineering with Maxime in Grenoble, made tacos in Oslo, got hiking tips in Bergen, watched deer in the park in Copenhagen, partied in Cologne and watched a fairly disappointing sunrise over the cathedral.... had adventures!
