ABOUT ME
I am a first year college student at LSU. I'm finding out who I am after being in a variety of social situations-and it's interesting. I'm constantly amazed by how much people have in common regardless of where you were born or how you grew up. I love cultures and I long to enrich my life by both meeting people and doing fun things with my life.
PHILOSOPHY
I live my life to learn how to live. It's weird, but up until recently I never contemplated living-everyone did it, right? Wrong. I'm learning how to live my life in an informed and economical fashion. I work to not take things for granted. It's an aggravating past time, but observing what my life revolves around allows me to find out what is truly important. I feel everyone should do this.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm looking to tie strings all across this world. Traveling is always better when you see it from the eyes of a passionate local, and I will be that person for whoever travels south to Baton Rouge. I love this community at LSU and the surrounding greater Baton Rouge. There are laughs and experiences to be had.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I held a 3-month-old baby with advanced signs of AIDS. In my senior year of high school I took a one week trip to Swaziland in Africa. My life was shaken. I popped into and back out of a place where people were still treated like goods. Where women and children were reduced to animals. And where women and children were left untreated, uneducated, and unloved. Left to die in the country with the highest AIDS rate. I held a baby that might not live to his teen years. I held a baby and saw an opportunity.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to learn more about the future of algae, the language of french, applying to medical school, and more about Mother Teresa.
I can teach you about American Football, socio-economic stereotypes in America, Christian Culture, and about the mystery of Jesus. I love to talk.
