ABOUT ME

I'm 19 years old and I currently live with my mum. I live in the biggest city in Denmark, Copenhagen, and I really love it here. I went to "Copenhagen Open Gym" and I've just graduated some months ago. I am a vegetarian and have been so for about two and a half years.
I have been a scout since I was 11 years old, and am now a scout leader. I love testing my own skills and courage and I want to experience all sorts of crazy stuff. I want to live in a village in Africa, be a skiing instructor in Italy, hike though Europe, sail with a training ship from Denmark to Spain and be a kindergarden teacher in Malaysia.
I hope that having a CouchSurfing profile will open some windows to the world. I hope to create some connections that will allow me to travel with the bare means of a student.

PHILOSOPHY

I think that people who complain about the rain are pussies. I mean, get some waterproof gear or live with being soaked! It is like the rain sucks the life out of people. I really think we should get over our selves and just have fun and be happy even though the conditions are crappy. Live your life, even at it worst.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have kind of couchsurfed in England, but I think it was a bit more organized than I imagine this being. I stayed with a family for three weeks for "free", and worked on the house as payment.
This Easter a friend of mine and I surfed in Berlin for some days, and it was AWESOME! I'm really into CS now =)

I really love fantasy books and books taking place many years ago, like in the Victorian Era or the medieval age.
I like Ken Follet, Terry Pratchet, Phillip Pullman, J.K. Rowling, Star Wars alternative universe books, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, the Earth's Children's books, and a little out of character for me: the Kathy Reichs crime novels.

My taste in movies are almost the same as in books plus I like no-brainer romantic comedies, like Love Actually and Juno. I like some action movies, but the storyline must be good. E.G. Leon, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and Lucky Number Slevin.

As far as music goes I think I'm an indie/folk-rock/rock/easy and realixing beautiful music/girl-pop-rock/alternative kinda person. I like the classics as Led Zeppelin and the Clash.
Folk-rock: First Aid Kit and the Rumour Said Fire.
Relaxing: Agnes Obel.
Girl-pop-rock: Joani Mitchell, Nena, Lily Allen, Tegan and Sara.
Alternative: CocoRosie.
