ABOUT ME

I've decided to not fret about little things that don't matter anymore. I have an undying curiosity for life, and love every part of it, simply because there would not be good without bad. I am easy going, helpful where I can be, I enjoy sarcasm, and I LOVE listening to stories, and going on long walks listening to the same song.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe life is a scale of balance, and in that it is very important to not try to be happy all the time, but to simply allow yourself to feel, and just be. This makes it possible to know true joy, and understand each end of the spectrum as we are able to know it. I think the key is to be open with yourself about everything.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I traveled through Europe in 2011, and it opened up and entire new world for me. I think my love for travel will always be pushing me to experience new things. As it should :)
I'm currently planning a trip to Burma, Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam during November-December 2014

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couch-surfed many times, and it has been one of the most beneficial decisions I've made. The value of staying with a person that is passionate about where they live is better than any commercial experience I can imagine.

I love music, FILM, travel, obscure art, good conversation, giving tattoos, sarcasm, laughing, motorcycles, sewing, drawing, climbing random objects, quirky people, tattooing, airplanes, and drinking lots and lots of coffee.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I love to climb things, buildings, bridges, etc. In Portland, I have found many small secret hideouts that only I know about. I call them 'nuggets', it's usually a beautiful view, and great place to think. Recently they have been the radio towers in the west hills, they tug at my heart for some reason. They are always amazing. When I get to see them internationally, it gives me a sense of home everywhere and always puts a smile on my face.

I hope to gain a deep understanding of others experiences, and lessons learned. I'm not exactly sure what I have to offer, only that I am willing to offer what I've learned. I think that basic human exchange is lacking in our time, let's change that.
