My name is Katja and I'm 19 years old. After having finished school last year I wanted take a gab year or two in order to work and explore the world a little :) I love traveling, meeting new people and doing things for the first time :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, I love travelling and I want to see as many different places as possible. Couchsurfing is a perfect opportunity to meet locals. Besides, that way you get to know a place in a way it's impossible when you are staying in a hotel... You learn something about the culture, the mentality, the traditions, the people who are actually living there :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music, I'm listening to almost everything like Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra, Muse, Johnny Cash, Stromae, Bob Dylan, Gorillaz, Billy Joel, Lana del Rey... a never ending list ;)

I like movies with Robert Redford a lot like "Barefoot in the park" and "The Horse Whisperer". What's more, I love "The bodyguard", "Blood diamond", "Jeune et jolie"... again there are way to many to name them all ;)

The last books I've been reading were "The great Gatsby" and "Anna Karenina" - <3 is all I can say
