Hello everyone,

I am on Couchsurfing since the beginning of September, unfortunately, therefore, I don't have any references because we start our travels in October. I just want to say here, that everyone who lets us crash on their sofas, is of course very welcome at our place (when we are back in Switzerland)!

I describe us both here since we are travelling together.
We are a couple from Switzerland - Etienne and Katja.

Etienne is a realist and logician. Thanks to that, and his diplomatic manner, it is always very interesting to discuss with him about God and the world.
His passion lies in music, especially in producing electronic music, preferably with synthesizers.

I, Katja, can always get excited about the little things in life. I tend to think positively, so it is always very interesting to hear other opinions about the world and what is going on.
I am a very active person with many open projects, for example, I am in the organizing committee for the small but very nice open-air "Out in the Gurin" in Sargans. (which by the way, always is a very nice experience for couch surfers to stay)

We are epicures. Whether it is lazing on the sofa on a rainy day, or exploring the city without a guide and enjoying good food and wine in newly discovered places. When we talk about food, we love food - but we don't really know much about it. That is why we are always very interested in regional specialities and learn about it.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Mainly we are on Couchsurfing to get to know locals and their culture.
It opens the opportunity to get to know the culture and language of the country in the best way.
And of course, it is a way to travel easily and affordably.

Music: Music to hang out and enjoy like "Mac DeMarco", "Tame Impala", "FKJ", old school hip hop
Films: Tarantinos are always good, a bit of British/ black humour like "The big Lebowski" "Worlds end" or a classic "Jonny english"
Books: just started really ready, but I enjoy a lot the style of "Arto Paasilinna"
