About Me

Hello! It's kind of difficult to sum up my whole personality in few sentences, but I will try to do my best ;) I think I am kind and easy-going person, I am very good listener and I appreciate good convesations about current events.
I just finish studying for medical doctor. My occupation is quite challenging at a time, but overall it brings me a lot of joy. Working with people who need help is almost an addiction, because you can really contribute something and help someone with your knowledge. It is also quite a caracter-builder, because every day you can grow as a person while doing something good.
Before start working me and my boyfriend Sebastijan took a year off and went on an adventure of a life time. Last year we were travelling trough Central and South America, with just a backpack and a tent in our posession :) This was our big dream all along because we are a bit addiceted of travelling ;) One day we just stopped with all excuses why we shouldn't go and start packing and it was the best possible decision.
But now little more about me...In my free time I like to hike, cycle and run in the nature. Doing sports is a booster of good energy for me. I really enjoy dancing swing and playing guitar, although I am just a beginner in both. My daily routine isn't perfect without a good book in one hand and cup of coffee in other. Usually there is not enough time to do, discover or try all the things that interest me. I am enspired by people's good energies, new places, travelling, history, good music…There is not a lot of things that I wouldn't do to broaden my horizons.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first tried couchsurfing when I was travelling trough Brazil. I met so many interesting people who showed me beauties of their towns, villages and accepted me in their circles of family and friends. I am very grateful for this type of experience. Before that I have never taught that this is possible, but then I met so much awesome people, that this became the best way of travel by far. Later we spent last year travelling with the generous help of couchsurfing trough South Amerika and I don't have proper words to describe all the generousness and caring of new friends we made trough CS.
Until now couchsurfing was the best possible way to travel. I think that with help of CS people you can explore countries and its people on a more personal and deeper level and you always bring home the best memories of new friendships you made on your way.

Interests

I have a lot of interests, but usually not enough time for all of them.
I really love to read good books, learn about history and world aroud me, and I always appreciate good talk about current events.
I like to sing in my car with all my voice, akwardly dance swing all night, play the quitar, I like to run and hike because I feel very energized surrounded with nature. I try to spend my summer weekend in moutains as much as possible.
My passion is also photography, but I am quite new at this. I am always up to learn and try new things.
I am in love with sea world, I like to snorkel a lot and I am thinking about getting licence for scuba diving.
The perfect idea of vacation for me is camping around countries. Me and Sebastijan converted our van to campervan so that we can enjoy the freedom of travel.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love listening to different styles of music, style depends of my current inner state. Especially I love rock. My favourites are Queen, Tom Waits, David Bowie, Doors, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Čompe, Bijelo Dugme, Clash, Led Zepplin, The Beatles, Nina Simone, Leonard Cohen, Simon and Garfunkel,

I am always up for a good movie, and I like all styles except horrors and and action films. In movies I appreciate good story with unique characters, and I enjoy watching good documentaries. There is limited space to write all of my favourites, but I should mention just a few of them: The Royal Tenenbaums; Spring, summer, auntum, winter...and spring; City of God; Tropa de Elite; Nymphomaniac; Pulp fiction; Forrest Gump, Dogtooth; It's a wonderful life....

Books: I looove reading, it is nice relaxation after long houres of medical studying. My favourites are Salman Rushdie: Midnight's children, Remarque: The night in Lisbon; George Orwell: 1984; William Golding: Lord of the Flies....
