still using imagination
Hello people of the universe! I'm Katja born and raised in a little chicken shaped country of Slovenia. But that was just a start point! From there my only goal is to get lost in the world, if t would be possible, I would't mind travelling to the space as well. I really enjoy this site, because its the best way to meet people from all over, to learn the true "sharing is caring" philosophy and much more than that.
I am, as many of you I believe, a travel addict, so I would like to see as much world as I can! For now I have pure good experience and memories I will never forget, of course there are people who made it even better! :)
Treat people like you want to be treated. Wear sunscreen... and the whole Mary Schmich's speech :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Back in 2011 I got introduced to CS while doing it :). Since then I hosted some amazing characters, who always remind me why travelling is special. And I love to do it, because it gives you an opportunity to see the culture, place, people, from a different perspective, a different picture, not only the postcard one.
I hosted and I have surfed around the world and I have never thought I will meet such incredible, different and interesting people! Even when I host it feels like I am travelling with the guests and actually discovering your own country! My CS experiences are positive and I developed a great belief in human kindness.

Everywhere I have been I made so many good friends, with positive and crazy personalities! I never knew there is so many good people around this world :)and this fact keeps surprising me all the time.
I think the true amazing thing is if you are able to see the magic in the small everyday things. But here are some "big" things I will ever forget:
I was very amazed watching my first musical in London- We will rock you.
The original flamenco in Seville danced by the locals on the street.

Skydiving in Franz Joseph
Canyon swing in Nevis
Sunrise in Cappadocia and sunset on mt. Nemrut
A night on Termini station
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to learn new things about cultures, the little secrets of places people live in,I live for trying different food, getting out of my comfort zone and learning new languages. I enjoy listening to people's stories, different experiences and I get impressed quite easily :).
I think that everything you see and hear, everybody you meet during travelling has an impact on you and helps you to become a better person or to realize your weakness and your strength. I believe we can learn from everybody and every situation.
What I Can Share with Hosts
