ABOUT ME

Katja: I'm a German-American who prefers the pub to the club. I enjoy good food, good coffee, and good beer. I love breakfast. I think beer matches food better than wine, especially cheese. I like cold weather. I like nature, but I'm a home-body. I used to be a biomedical scientist, but I left the lab 10 years ago and now work in IT. I love to travel and wish I could do it more. I'm the boring one of the two of us, as well as being the quiet one who often keeps to herself (no offence please if I don't say much).

Brian: An American who followed Katja over to Australia... then on to Germany, where I did my PhD. I've had a multitude of jobs from science to beer and just about everything in between. I like board games and beer. I've been told I'm a bit strange but I just equate that to you being strange. Oh yeah, beer is good.

Since 2013, we have a boy, who is full of life and too smart for his own good.
