Study! I am in Leeds for a month to be immersed in British culture in order to be a better teacher of English.

ABOUT ME

I live in Umeå with my boyfriend and I am studying English to be a teacher. I love to travel, make music (singing, songwriting, playing, listening), cooking and eating!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted a few times when I had my own place and enjoyed it very much. I now live with a partner, we never had any couchsurfers over at our place yet, but we have a couch and like company, so hopefully that will change.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I try to be a good host. I try to be a good guest. I have enjoyed many good conversations on life and couchsurfing. Surfing and hosting teaches you a lot of things about trust and generosity and it's an interesting way to see things from a new perspective.

Interests

Music, reading, movies and series, food, running, traveling, getting to know new people and new places. Simply enjoying life wherever I am, whoever I'm with.

Ani DiFranco, Joni Mitchell, Anais Mitchell, Esperanza Spalding. Authors like Alice Munro, Carol Shields and Charlaine Harris as well as a lot of poets. For series I like True Blood, The Killing, The Bridge, any movie with Will Smith in it ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Busking at the Eiffel tower was awesome.

I want to be a teacher, so I better be learning all the time :) I can offer you some knowledge on guitars, songwriting and cooking.. and learning English perhaps ;) (teacher to be).
