My name is Katja. I'm a 27-year old design student from Hamburg.
I love travelling and camping. I do film photography to document my travels and daily life.
Nature is one of the most beautiful things for me. I also own a small garden in Hamburg to grow vegetables and fruits with my friends. I also really care for the environment as I work for the non-profit organisation oclean and reduce plastic in my life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling is amazing. And its also more fun to get to know locals in the cities I travel.
I think its a good way to have some exchange of culture.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sleeping outside in the alps in switzerland. We got fresh water from a waterfall nearby. Made tasteful food by the fire. We saw a million of stars in the night and had an ice cold bath in the waterfall the next day. I never felt that kind of freedom in my life before.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can show you how to to use cameras, also with film. I can teach you a bit about how to draw and make art. Also, I know a lot of gardening hacks. Even if you don't own a garden. There are a lot of vegetables that you can grow in small places like balconies.
Also if you want to reduce your eco-footprint I can give you some good life hacks to live more zero waste.
