Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing gives a great opportunity to learn and as a result share with others. Using this platform for more than 5 years I can definitely say that couch surfing in combination with hitchhiking completely changed my way of looking at life.

Interests

One of my biggest interests is a spiritual improvement. I do meditation daily, sing mantras and practice yoga.

I also play some music, my main instrument is called “Domra”, it’s a Russian traditional 3 string instrument. I also used to play a guitar.

Music, Movies, and Books

I’m very open to all types when it comes to the music choice because I believe that music should have some personal resonance with you, no matter what’s the genre it is.

I have one movie called “Amelie” which I rewatch every year in the autumn because it gives me very warm and nice vibes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a Trans-Siberian railway trip, where I was traveling from Moscow to Vladivostok by train. It took me 7 days to make that!

Last year I did Camino De Santiago, 26 days of constant hiking through the beautiful sights of Spain brought me a lot of insights and blisters.

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe that sharing is more kind of a lifestyle, which enlightens your life and makes you feel happier. I can teach some yoga and meditation tips and trick, also show how to cook healthy and delicious vegetarian meals.

What I Can Share with Hosts

As I’m traveling much, one of the things I can share is the travel stories I had during this time. Also, as I come from Russian culture, I usually make some Russian cuisine evenings so to introduce others to my culture.
