My name is Katia,
I was born in Ukraine where I lived till I was 17 and then I moved to study and live in Poland.
Now, during this 2017/2018 year I am having a gap year in Porto. I am volunteering here in a multicultural project, where we focus on raising awareness about different cultures in local community.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I`m here because it seems the right time to start being active couchsurfer, since I love all about travelling and meeting new people with their cultural background, stories, experiences.
So far I`ve been going to Couchsurfing meetings in Poland, Porto and Milan and I loved it. I was also working with foreigners for the last few years, so here I am now, eager to meet you guys or here in Porto or in other destionations. Unfortunately for now I can`t host others, but spending time and showing around - for sure. I want to focus on travelling around Portugal and Spain this year, so will be happy if you can host me at some of the cities :)

Don`t like to chose anything that is my favorite, but when it comes to movies I really love argentinian - Wild Tales (Relatos Salvajes)
Music - all types and from all continentes.
Starting with post soviet countries random bands through Beyonce and Bonobo to the hits of 80s and 90s :)

I can teach you languages that i speak, we can make a win-win language exchange, to make it more international :)
We can practice some yoga (unprofessionally) or at least try beer yoga :D
