About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet some other world citizens in Cleveland!

ABOUT ME

I love traveling. I got the bug at a young age. My parents would take these long road trips, and through them I have seen most of the USA (I've been to 49 states - I'm just missing Alaska).

As an adult, I decided I have seen most of my home country, so it is time to see the world. I have lived in Europe for a year and Asia for two, and have traveled and seen at lot.

I moved back home to Ohio recently, and I'm looking to meet some new people!

PHILOSOPHY

"You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view - until you climb into his skin and walk around in it."

OK, so I stole that from Atticus Finch, but I think it's apropos.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment, I do not have a couch (I hope that changes soon!) but I'm down for meeting local like-minded people and hanging out with travelers passing through the area.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never couchsurfed, but a few of my close friends have done it and highly recommend it.

Interests

I like to try anything once, but of course I have some favorite things to do.

I like reading, gardening, playing softball, watching the Cleveland Indians, bhangra dance, Latin dance, music, and more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are so many, but I think the most humbling experiences I have had was visiting a shanty town located on a landfill in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. A local NGO was working to open a school there, but the families living there were reluctant to send their children to the school because they can make more money by having the children scavenge for metal in the landfill.
