I live between and am engaged in art communities in both Canada and Australia. I am hungry for experience through immersion. My favourite way to experience a place, is to be immersed and stay long enough to learn how the locals live, and to create a synergy with my environment.

I write about art. I seek out and curate art.
I am also super aware that the word ‘art’ is problematic. I will just say: art is for everyone. Art is not an object to be bought. Art is a language, a conduit through which we can question the default, think through, process the chaos. Art is a safe space to ‘fail’, and at the same time, in art you cannot fail. Art is community building conversations and activities. You are welcome to art. I promise to disrupt anyone who makes you feel like art is only for an elite few.
Maybe we need a new, less tainted word for what I am referring to when I say ‘art.’ But for now, I have this word, and with it I say: may art embrace and empower you. It is yours; and here’s a secret: you cannot fuck it up, so go ahead, art wants you to make it, feel it, live it.
