About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Our current mission is to get settled back in the Bay Area. Of course, this means meeting new people & making life long friends.

ABOUT ME

Kat: I like to sleep in the sun and play all night. I love kitties a lot (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hm2BdCbZkKY). Seriously, I like being active, and exploring, and adventure.
Bri: smarter than wikipedia, able to jump to conclusions before anyone, and obviously from this describtion, a total smart ass! No, really, I like to goof around, laugh a lot, and make new friends.

PHILOSOPHY

Live. Laugh. Love.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We still are trying to surf our first couch, but to no success. However, now that we are back in the San Francisco Bay Area, I hope to host some folks, even if it is just a tour or cup of coffee.
We heard about this site and the services through a new friend we met in Mahahual, Mexico. She recommended it to us.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have been sort of couch surfing (unoffically) on peoples sailboats.

Interests

We are interested in learning new languages, SCUBA diving, swiming, soccer, triathalon, sailing, and of course, traveling!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Movies! My favorites are action adventure (like all James Bond & Borne movies)and Sci - fi. I am a huge Star Trek fan and the new movie was Awesome! Oh, and Tropic Thunder was hilarious!
As for books, I am not much of a reader, but have picked up the habit lately. One of the sharpest satires I have enjoyed was Boomsday, by Christopher Buckley. He also wrote Thank you for smoking. Great dialog.
As for Brian, he shreds through em. He really enjoys reading Mitchner, the lastest one he read was Mexico (since we were just there). This author really researches the culture and history, which he blends beautifully with fiction. Mitchner novels have some substance to them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Really, I have been bless with many amazing moments - the sunsetting on a lake, the moonrise while in the middle of the ocean, huge pods of dolphins, whales breeching, sea turtles, and Sharks. My friends holding their babies, the Golden Gate bridge, Yosemite National park, the Cooper Canyon, the desert, a marraige between two people, the flames of fire at my feet .......

Teach, Learn, Share

On a practical note, we can teach sailing, weather, radio, and navigation.
We can share our experiences, thoughts, and lives.
If I learn one new thing a day, then it's a good day.
Each one, reach one, teach one.
