I want to explore as much of this big, beautiful world as I possibly can, and still graduate college.

ABOUT ME

I am an adventurous and easygoing student at Northern Michigan University. I enjoy school and cannot wait to be a speech therapist someday, but my real passion is for experiencing as many different walks of life as I can. I love discovering new languages, food, music and- most of all- people. I have learned not to ignore life's "What if?" moments, and to embrace the adventures that generally follow.

I am currently a surfer and a host, as long as all my roommates agree.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only couchsurfed once so far, but plan to use this system much more during my post-graduation travels!

兴趣

I am a singer-songwriter and play piano, violin and some cello. I love being outdoors; I particularly enjoy hiking, cross-country skiing, camping, and flyfishing. I also run a non-profit in Ghana called Students of Success Foundation, so I am very interested in education and social justice work.

I had the incredible opportunity to spend a year teaching in Ghana, West Africa. Not only did I get to explore that wild and beautiful country, but my host parents and students taught me more than I can ever put into words.
